Women and Wine of the FLX Class

It wasn’t that long ago that there were few Finger Lakes winemakers who were also female. Today, a growing number of women hold the title of winemaker, and women are actively employed at every level of the local winery industry. Many have extensive training, education and experience, as well as seasons in wine regions around the world. Friday, March 8th is International Women’s Day so the time is right to celebrate the strides women are making in the region, and also for the excellent wines they are producing.
