COVID shifted the world of art sales in favor of online auctions. Learn how an online auction functions – including what sells well and what doesn’t – and how to find the wealth of online information about art and antique evaluation.

Philippe Roth Schwimmer holds a BA from George Washington University and an MFA. She has been in the business of educating and selling art for two decades. She has run a gallery of emerging artists in a busy downtown community and taught art to adults and children at prestigious private schools, including the International Center of Photography in New York City.
But most exciting has been her foray into online art sales. She has learned the values of thousands of items including Chinese plates, European religious icons and contemporary art objects. For her newest endeavor, Long Lake Art and Antiques, she scours the country for treasures to research and place in orchestrated online auctions.
