The Cheshire Community Action Team and The Cheshire Union present: Stories from Cheshire!
Stories from Cheshire is a history exhibition and fundraiser celebrating the 125th birthday of the Cheshire Theater and Meeting Hall aka The Cheshire Grange. The exhibit will feature historical photographs, newspaper clippings, posters, letters and artifacts all about the hamlet of Cheshire. We will highlight the people, the buildings and the stories from the hamlet’s history, the present and the work we hope to do for the future!
Organized in 2003, the Cheshire Community Action Team (CCAT) works to improve the day-to-day living environment of the Hamlet by raising awareness of community issues; fostering better communication between neighbors; youth development; and providing an informed, effective voice that links Cheshire residents to local government. Their big project is to revitalize the Cheshire Theatre and Meeting Hall into a usable space for community events.
Join us for an opening reception on Saturday, April 29th from 1-3pm.
The exhibit will be on display from April 29th thru June 11th.

Monday thru Saturday 10-5
Sunday 12-5.
