The Yates County History Center will launch its new audio tour of Main Street on Saturday, April 6th at 2 PM. $5.00 includes map and refreshments in the Oliver House.
The new audio tour includes descriptions of selected buildings and localities as well as some of the village’s fascinating history. The tour consists of short audio segments that are connected to QR codes on a map of Main Street. All you need is a smart phone and the map, which will be available for sale ($5) at the History Center from the launch date on, during business hours.
On launch day, all history-hungry residents and visitors are invited to join us for light refreshments at the Oliver House and then take off down Main Street, smart phone and map in hand. Bon voyage!
