Visit the Seward House Museum and Seymour Library for a special event! Enjoy a day of historical learning centered around the life and legacy of William Henry Seward’s youngest child, Fanny. By writing in her diary, Fanny captured events of the Civil War that teach us about everyday life for a young girl in the 19th century. During this event, Brownies and Juniors will be able to meet Fanny Seward, learn about ghost handwriting, take a scavenger hunt through the museum, and even make their own paper theater set! Earn your Celebrating Community or Playing with the Past badge, and receive a custom Seward House patch. This event is free!
