February 5 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The 4-H WHEP club will be having a birding outing on Sunday, February 5th at 1pm. Club leader Pete will be the guy with a spotting scope in the gazebo by the lake. We will be looking for various species of gulls, waterfowl, and bald eagles along the north end of the lake (including Seneca Lakes State Park). When finished, we will make a brief trip to Johnson Road in the Town of Phelps to look for northern harriers and short earred owls. Dress warm and bring binoculars and spotting scopes if you have them.
