Well known for a reason, the wines were fantastic! Great selection and location as well with plenty of seats and nice views. Food looked good too but unfortunately we had already eaten.

Nice experience - went for the live music and some tasting.
Was a little crowded but not worse than most places with a live band.
Tried a couple of different wines; the best was the Riesling.
Absolutely gorgeous views of the Sun setting over Seneca Lake.
If you’re in the area, make it a stop.

If you're planning a trip to Seneca Lake, Wagner Vineyards should be the first winery on your tour. Book a tasting and make sure you have John. I can't rave enough about John! He was so kind and knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I bought his book and he autographed it for us. We even stopped on our way home to say goodbye to him. I'm looking forward to going back again one day soon!

The winery is lovely with such an incredible view. Even though it was a hot sunny day we were very comfortable on the covered deck and were grateful to take in the sight of the vineyards and the lake while we sipped. Our group had an enjoyable experience tasting and comparing the variety of delicious wines. I highly recommend the barrel fermented Chardonnay. We all left with several new favorites. I'm looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful time at Wagner. To be honest, we went into it with very little expectations. We had hear mixed reviews, so we were expecting much. We had a tasting with John, and we were absolutely blown away- both by the delicious wines, and by the wealth of knowledge that John provided us with. He gave us a wonderful 1.5 hour tasting stuffed full of history, viticulture, and delightful anecdotes. John opened our eyes to many aspects of wine making, wine tasting, and the finger lakes region in general. The wines we sampled were top quality. We went home with several bottles, and we will definitely be back! John is truly a gem, and I sincerely hope Wagner recognizes and appreciates that they have one of the best tasting hosts we had the pleasure to meet during our visit to over 17 wineries during this trip.
