Stopped here after some wine tasting up the road. Cool location on village green, vintage decor, great lunch. My partner raved about the fish tacos, better than any Mexican restaurant, almost as good as the ones she makes at home.

Went here while visiting Hammondsport and were pleasantly surprised by the food. The look of the space is a bit dated and doesn't imply solid food but the chicken marsala, included beer bread, and fish fry were all delicious. Has a solid beer list and decent prices. While some may like it, I did find the while sangria to be a bit of a sugar bomb so order wisely.

Ordered a $16 salad and it came out on a side plate. I told the waitress it was ridiculous and she agreed. It was 1/4 of the size it should have been. She even said her and the bartender had just discussed the size and agreed. Also, I joked around and said I wanted “diet” water when we sat down because my mom asked what kind of diet soda they had. She brought me seltzer water. I told her I only wanted regular water and she said no problem. She still charged us for it. For a tiny salad, a beef on weck, a fish sandwich, and three waters it was $62 before tip.
Responding to the restaurant:
No one came to our table except the waitress. No one. And I did tell the waitress. Also, I saw a man in a blue shirt ask the only other table in the restaurant how their meal was. He did not approach us or I would have gladly mentioned it. And no one else came and checked on us. Btw, the waitress was kind and the food was good. Not $62 plus tip good.
