Really nice place. The owners are very friendly and super informative. They make some really good wine. They take time to explain how they make their wine as well as where they are from. Mostly French wine here and it's really good.
The owner gave my family the most detailed and engaging tours that we have ever had on the finger lakes! Willinging to answer questions, give you all the history of the process and his family of vintners Make this one of your stops and taste some truly delectable wines
A must see place in Ithaca for wine lovers! Very authentic and unique experience of wine tasting and culture. The visit was very enjoyable and full of information. The wine was superb, tasty, and unique. A lot of history in that place, and you will have the chance to see part of the process of wine making with a beautiful explanation from the owner.
If you are visiting the Ithaca area, this should be your first choice among the many wineries in the area. Owner is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about his art. Amazing winemaking artifacts and photos tell a fascinating story about a family legacy in both France and the US . And the wine is phenomenal. Some of the best port I have ever tasted. Not to be missed.
So my family and I are visiting the fingerlakes region and looking for some wineries to visit for a day. I happen across this location and it piques my intrest. So despite all of us not being dry wine drinkers we still decide to pop in and check it out, and boy am I glad we did. First of all the owners were the most knowledgable wine makers I have ever encountered, which is saying something as I hail from a big wine region myself. They not only educated us about their five wines, but educated us about the difference between an american wine and a true french wine, which is the tradition they follow being a fifth generation wine maker. They also have a small museum in their winery which we learned a lot from too. So now to the wines themselves, they have five they make. The first two I tasted were dry which as I mentioned in the beginning I don't prefer, but they were palatable to me and could drink if I were offered a glass. They also have two ports they make which I liked both of them. They also have a sparkling wine which I wasnt able to sample because of its delicate shelf life once opened. If you're in the Ithaca NY area I strongly recommend visiting this place. They also have the cutest little mascot named Tucker working there.
