***update. As on 12/21/21 I have yet to hear anything from the business or owner to try to rectify this situation whatsoever*** I am beyond frustrated with my meal. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and peppers, an order of fries and garlic parmesan wings with extra sauce. Once I arrive home I realize the pizza only has pepperoni on it so I call the store and am told they gave me the wrong pizza and to bring the pizza I currently have, back. Pretty sure that’s a major health code violation. I drive back to the store and the guy inspects the pizza and is ready to give it to the lady sitting behind me whose pizza it actually belongs to. The girl at the counter intervenes and tells me to take both pizzas home… so I did. Upon arriving home and inspecting the rest of my order I see that the wings are extremely dry and have no additional sauce. They are so dried out that when I tried to use a fork to cut one in half, it flew off of my plate and onto the floor. I have lived in Canandaigua for 6 years and often tell my daughter, who is a big Mark’s/Pontillo’s fan, that Perri’s is better… I guess I have to now let her win this round of battle of the pizzas. Absolutely disgusting. I did not feel too well and my daughter just had a tooth extracted… we truly were looking for a good cheat meal and a quiet/relaxing night in. This ruined it and we wound up without dinner. Oh and they apparently do not know how to properly cut a pizza!
There is no getting around the price increase of things these days. Perhaps I ordered too much food? The cost of pizza and wings hardly seems worth it, but it was still good. Ordered a specialty pizza, peperoni pizza, and buffalo wings. $96! But, I will still return when it is convenient
Perri’s Pizzeria is located conveniently on 332, and has absolutely delicious pizza with 4 easy options for slices to be warmed up quickly. My favorite is the City Sweet Chicken Wing, a welcome variety from the usual cheese or pepperoni slices most pizza places offer to go. 5/5 stars, can’t wait to visit again!
A good place that apparently hired too many new people at once. Like others we got the wrong order (only one item was correct). When I called to have it fixed, got put on hold for over 10 minutes and ended up calling on a second phone. Finally got someone and was told to keep the food and that what we actually ordered would be here in 30 minutes. It took another hour for it to show up as we were getting ready to leave and call for a cancellation. The pizza box was smashed in. The foods good but they need to iron out the staff communication or improve their training. Will give them a second chance. I wanted to chalk it up to a bad day but seeing it's a semi common issue is a bummer.
Ordered only today one of their Crazy Tuesday $10 medium pizzas for first time and it had to be one of the worst, most tasteless pizza pies I have ever ever experienced. So very dissapointed. Wonder if all the Perris are like this? Tried a couple of pieces hoping one would be better than the next but it wasn't the case --- I was forced to throw the rest in the trash. What a waste of time, effort and money. Hardly any sauce, chewy crust (like cardboard), little to no seasoning and very few pepperonis. Maybe they cut back when its only $10.00?? Dominos everyday $7.99 large pizza with two toppings is by far better, larger, and much more seasoned and tasty. Their medium pan pizza is exceptional. These pizza places around Canandaigua have no idea how to make a pizaa except perhaps possibly Pontillos. The problem with Pontillos is the exhorbitant pricing, so little value now for the money. Can't opine on Salvatores, Green Front or Mark's Pizza except to say they are just expensive as Pontillos and therefore I will not order from them. Prices today are irrational and ridiculous thanks to the liberals and that buffoon Biden in the WH except for Dominos. I'll make my own pizzas from scratch from now on at home.
