A dining experience in the Finger Lakes inspired by seasonal and local products of our region. Central bar, open kitchen, private event space, lively and spirited gathering place.
My husband and I visited for the first time in almost 6 years and were not disappointed! We sat at the bar because we didn't have reservations- the service was great. Cheese plate was really good, we liked all the local cheeses and pickled veggies. I had the pasta special as a main. It had flavors that didn't sound like they should go together but somehow they worked perfectly. My husband had the Asian chicken sandwich which was also amazing. We both had a cocktail and mine (named "The Boulevardier Is Not That Bad") was one of the most complex drinks I've ever had, and I am a craft cocktail fan, so I've tried a decent amount of cocktails so far! Highly recommend Kindred Fare, it is on par with a major city restaurant, while still keeping it hyper local. We will be back soon!
We held our rehearsal dinner in the side room at Kindred Fare. Susie was amazing to work with!! She listened to all of our ideas and requests and help us build a menu that worked for our party. Every guest commented on how delicious the food was and how well run the event was. Kindred Fare, Susie and her team orchestrated the most perfect family style meal. We enjoyed cauliflower wings, flatbread, salmon, steak, kale Caesar salad, asparagus, key lime tart and chocolate coconut torte.
Farm to table!?? Yes please! This is an absolutely wonderful place! On top of the incredible food, the entire staff are lovely—making us feel so welcomed. I highly recommend the Friendship Fries, they were of course devoured before I even thought of taking a picture! Kindred Fare is a must visit on your list of things to do in Geneva!! It will not disappoint!
Beautiful restaurant and interesting food done well! Service was excellent, however, while attending a private event with a preplanned menu, I asked the waitress to make a small side salad from the family style salad we were being served. I explained I had a strawberry allergy. She told me she could accommodate, however, when the salad arrived, there were no strawberries but the greens were dressed with a strawberry vinegarette.
Great spot in an admittedly weird location. Food is very good, creative, and executed well! Nice selection for a smaller menu concept and we tried 5 items. Bartender was friendly. Beer selection is just OK. Overall, it's one of the better options in Geneva, and a good change of pace. Try it.
