Just getting into mead and it is very hard to find but my friend introduced me to Earle Estates. Luckily this summer I was able to go there and do some tasting. The mead is very enjoyable and easy to drink. The young man that helped us was very descriptive with the drinks and the overall experience was great. The cider was also fantastic.
Some of the most delicious mead I've ever had (and I love trying and making different meads), nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful bartenders. I had a really nice time here and it would be a definite one to go back to if I ever visit the Finger Lakes again. If you've never tried mead before, what are you waiting for?
A meadery, cidery, and fruit winery sounds pretty complicated, and it is difficult to sift through the variety of flavors available between the three. That said, what we tasted was nice. The ciders had a pronounced apple flavor. We picked up the basic apple one without any significant added flavors. We also picked up a bottle of the raspberry wine / honey mead. Service was friendly, and the setting nice. Being early in the season, there were no crowds.
This strawberry wine is like drinking strawberry juice straight to the face. Pretty sure I could funnel it. The staff were very friendly and described the wines very accurately. Plus the tastings come in these awesome little jars (sorry we drank them all before I took the picture)
I like mead so I liked this place. They did a good job with the mead as well as the wine and the warthog cider was also something fun especially during the fall season. The bartender was helpful and the place appeared to be well maintained and clean as per covid requires. Definitely brought home some goodies for later from this place and will be returning for more in the future!
