Very nice and well established restaurant in Geneva, featuring America, British and Irish dishes. They have a large menu, and the drink menu is even large - something like 160 beer options and 15 beers on tap. The Beer and Cheddar Soup was very tasty, though a bit salty, probably from all the cheese and bacon in it. Our sandwiches were both delicious. Our only complaint was the coffee was not very hot, and it was a little pricey for coffee, soup and a sandwich. Our server was very friendly and professional. All and all, I'm sure we will be going back there soon.
The family and I went there to eat on our way home from Syracuse. We walked in and got a seat right away which was nice. My wife had a cheeseburger and fries I had the french dip and the kids had macaroni and cheese and peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Everything was good and the price was reasonable
Established. “Cozy.”I was a little put off by the fact that we weren’t given straws or coasters with our drinks. The food was ok. We ordered the po boy, fish fry, clams and mozzarella sticks. I was a little apprehensive about eating here considering the reviews (did NOT see all of them!!! My partner picked the place that weekend) and lack of patronage at dinner time though some people with reservations began to trickle in after we sat down. I contracted either food poisoning or norovirus after eating here. I spent 6 hours in the emergency department with severe abdominal pain and dehydration. The worst ambulance ride ever with no pain medication. Also pretty expensive for bar food. I’d avoid. I’m sorry.
Very rustic atmosphere that is well maintained and food was top knotch for a late afternoon lunch. The French Dip Roast Beef sandwich was very good. Fresh bread that was soft, yet cruchy and chewy all in one. I will definitely be back to try their menu out further.
We had a party of 10 people on Tuesday 1/4 for my boyfriends birthday. It was our table and 3 other parties of 2, which all ate before we received appetizer’s. Once our party was all there our server took our order and it took about 30 minutes after that for just our soup and 2 appetizers. Both tasted good. I ordered the beef barbecue with mashed potatoes. I took a few bites and noticed this bug. I googled a picture of a cockroach and sure enough! Long antennas and everything. The server said sorry and offered to make something new, I declined the offer. He told me he would take off my meal. A manager never came and apologized. The rest of my party was iffy on finishing their food. The server came back again and said he took everything off the bill and we only had to pay for drinks. I’m personally a server and have been for awhile and I definitely would not make someone pay for a meal that had a cockroach in it. This is the last time I will eat here. I’ve shared to news and a lot of people have said they have had food poisoning from here. Am old employee also told me this is common for the employees, they see bugs here all the time! Yikes
