You’re invited to the second annual March & Tea Party to celebrate Women gaining the right to vote! Last year’s Centennial Celebration was so enjoyable, it’s going to happen every year!
Arrive a bit early to park… We start the one mile march / walk to the Sherwood Equal Rights Historic District at 2:05. There, we will be educated and entertained at Stone Store museum with readings about suffragist Emily Howland.
Following the self guided tour of Opendore, we will march / walk one mile back to Howland Farm Museum to enjoy 4:00 tea.
Bring your daughters! This is a great opportunity to get young ladies interested in the importance of their vote!
RSVP in form of a direct message with your email and the names/ emails of ppl in your group, so that I have a tally and can send a final email concerning any food being served.
People are encouraged to wear shades of white, ivory, creams like the Suffragists or purple or yellows! Feel free to dress in any sort of period clothing too!
Masks required for walk and Opendore portion, not for tea. You will be seated with your party.
