Tom Rush at the Center for the Arts Homer, NY
October 22 @ 8:00 pm
Join Tom Rush and the up-and-coming Matt Nakoa for an evening music at the Center for the Arts Homer, NY on October 22nd.
First *ANNUAL* Farewell Tour.
While some bands seem to have a Farewell tour every few years, Tom has no idea when he’ll *actually* stop touring –– he’s having too much fun! So why be coy? While COVID has run amok, we’re now adding dates at venues where we can boogie while socially distanced!
For more than 50 years, Tom’s distinctive guitar style and wry humour have made him a legend and a lure to audiences worldwide. His shows are filled with the rib-aching laughter of terrific story-telling, the sweet melancholy of ballads and the passion of gritty blues.
Rush’s impact on the American music scene has been profound. He helped shape the folk revival in the ’60s and the renaissance of the ’80s and ’90s, his music having left its stamp on generations of artists.
