**Brian Buttlett (he/they) is a DJ from Rochester NY, one third of the creative force behind Rochester queer dance party JUICE BOX, and an active public figure in Rochester’s LGBTQ+ community for over a decade.
Returning to the decks during the COVID-19 pandemic after an almost decade-long hiatus, Brian’s vibes are the underlying blueprint to JUICE BOX’s sound: glittery and bubbly, high-energy, and bridging the gaps between mainstream and underground. An admirer of everything from disco, house and rave classics to modern pop, techno and breakbeat, Brian’s selection and style mirrors his unapologetic approach to queer identity, and his aims in making the dance floor a space for unpretentious fun.
For RAWHIDE Brian is tapping into a sexier, more rhythmic and pulsating energy, melding it to his usual effervescent sound and blending some glitter into the sultry dark.
