Pop-Up Farmers Market @ CBC
March 18 @ 4:00 pm
Main Street Farms is pleased to announce the “Pop-Up Farmers Market” at Cortland Beer Company (16 Court St) will continue bi-weekly. This event, set to take place every other Thursday, offers local food lovers in Cortland County to meet some area farmers and food producers while food shopping. Featuring a range of products, the market will include various vegetables, meat, and fermented products, not to mention local beer, wine, and liquor.
The upcoming sale will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday March 18th. In line with COVID-19 safety protocols, the market will require customers to wear masks and practice safe social distancing. It will also limit the number of visitors inside at a given time, based on space capacity.
Main Street Farms will have root vegetables and well as fresh greens. Food and Ferments will be selling kombucha, apple spice switchel, sauerkraut, kimchi, beet kvass and ginger beets. Bottomland Farm will also be in attendance with pasture raised pork, chicken, turkey, and duck, raised using regenerative farming practices in Berkshire, NY.
The brewery in Cortland is a fitting host. You can support another local business as well by sitting down to have a drink with friends, or purchasing some local beer, wine, and spirits to take home with you.
