History of Hybrids in the FLX

April 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Ever wonder why hybrids like Baco Noir, Seyval Blanc or Cayuga White came about or what type of work is being done at Cornell University on modern varieties that are better adapted to the changing climate? Learn about the fascinating history & future of hybrids right here in the Finger Lakes.
Join us as we explore the History of Hybrids, presented by Angela Mattoon, 2021 Women For Wine Sense scholarship recipient & Ben Riccardi, winemaker & business manager at Osmote Wine. Once Finger Lakes will be hosting us and providing delicious bites to pair along with the wines!
Once, meaning “eleven” in Spanish, stands for the eleven Finger Lakes & is a regional tasting room with excellent wines & beautiful views!
