November 19, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Mark your calendars for November 19th! Beaujolais Nouveau 2020 will be hitting the shelves hot off the press, just 6-8 weeks after harvest. We’ll be celebrating with regionally inspired menu specials all weekend in a traditional harvest celebration, as this Gamay grape wine from the Beaujolais region of France signifies the end of harvest and the beginning of a new vintage of wine.
Beaujolais Nouveau brings winemaking teams together after the harvest to relish the first taste of the fruits of their labor, and we want you as our guest! Join us as we raise our glasses with this zesty, fresh, vibrant, and fruity wine!
Come taste the 2020 Beaujolais Nouveau paired perfectly with chef’s choice – Duck Confit! These specials will start this Thursday, November 19th and continue throughout the weekend (or until sold out)! Call us today or reserve your table online – you won’t want to miss this
Duck Confit, Roasted Potatoes, Cabbage, Charred Onion Vinaigrette $21/single – $27/double
Jean-Paul Brun, FRV100, Off Dry, Charnay, FR NV
Made in the Style of Cerdon de Bugey, a slightly sweet, low alcohol sparkling Gamay from the southern Jura Mountains in France. The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Limestone Soils surrounding Jean-Paul Bruns winery in the Southern Beaujolais town of Charnay. The wine is fermented in tank to about 6% alcohol, lightly filtered, then bottled to finish fermentation, creating a gulpable, slightly sparkling wine.
Jean-Paul Brun, Terres Dorees, L’Ancien Nouveau, Charnay, FR 2020 $10/Glass $16/Quartino $50/Liter
A decidedly serious version of a traditionally unserious wine. Also from Brun’s estate vineyards planted on limestone in and around the village of Charnay, the wine is from the first pick of 40-60 year old vines (hence L’Ancien). The wine is fermented with native yeast with no additives. Poured from 3 liter bottles.
