Intro to Gardening: A How-To Class for Beginners

April 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Nothing beats the taste of fresh picked vegetables straight from the garden; be it the traditional plot of land, raised bed, or containers on the deck or patio.
Vegetable gardening provides fresh produce for the family, is a form of exercise and many find it therapeutic. To help you on your quest for a bountiful season Cornell Cooperative Extension educator, Russ Welser, will give you guidance and tips on soil fertility, planting procedures and times, watering practices and pest management. There will be time for questions and answers.
Take advantage of Russ’s vast knowledge on Monday evening April 25 from 6-7 pm at the Bristol library. To register message us here, call the library at 229-5862, or email bristollibrarydirector@owwl.org
And stay tuned for classes on how to preserve all the good things you’re going to grow!
