I tend to heavily research almost every major purchase that I make - needless to say with the reputation I felt hot tubs had, I poured even more research into buying one. I visited every single dealer in the Rochester area (multiple times), and called many more around the area. I have to say, I was very pessimistic when I set out to visit Blue Wave - never heard of the store, and never heard of Coast/NorthWind brand. I have to admit, I've never been more happy to be wrong. Ed and John impressed me from the moment I first stopped in. Every other place I went into, I was able to parrot some intricate question about some specific construction detail that a guy on a forum told me was very important to the buying process. 90% of the time the salesman would say they would have to look in the manual, but both Ed and John knew not only every detail of the Coast/NorthWind family, but many of the other brands too! Needless to say (after a few more weeks of researching / narrowing down the model) I got a tub with Blue Wave. I even compared their exact offerings to other Coast dealers across the States and they still killed the competition. John had an electrician that he normally worked with that did my upgrades at great price (compared to two other quotes I received) and delivered/installed the tub; Ed came out later that day in the freezing cold on his own time to teach me all about the tub and help me program it! I am so happy I found Blue Wave - I know that I have a very high quality tub at an amazing price, and an amazing team of Ed and John to take care of me for years to come!
John, Ed, and Todd are amazing. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. They always listen to what their customers are saying and work to find the best solution for you. We have used them to open, close, and service our swimming pool for 14 years and we purchased our spa from them 3 years ago. You could not ask for a better people to help with your pool and spa needs. Highly recommend them!!
Purchased a hot tub from Blue Wave four years ago - was happy when I purchased it, but the service since then might be the absolutely best customer service I have ever had, from any company! Not only did Ed & John go above and beyond during purchase process, but twice since then I've had some sort of issues pop up (both super minor, but initially alarming to my untrained eye) - both times Ed responded to me immediately, was out to me in a day or two, and barely charged me anything for the repair! I already referred anyone looking to buy a hot tub to visit Blue Wave - but I honestly cannot recommended Ed & John enough - quite literally the best service!
Highly recommend Blue Wave Pool & Spa. We had an urgent need to repair a broken pump on our Coast Spa. With freezing weather in the forecast, Ed quickly fit us into his schedule. He took the time to walk us through the repair and provided tips for preventative maintenance. We were extremely pleased with the service, fair price and overall experience. Thank you Ed!
Probably the most helpful, fantastic, knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, tremendous people I have ever met. Todd keeps Ed and John hopping in the field and mans the phones and store without a hiccup. THEY ALWAYS ANSWER THE PHONE AND WELCOMED ME AS A NEW POOL OWNER WITHOUT HESITATION AND WITH KNOWLEDGE ABOUND!! Could anyone be better? I don’t think it’s possible! And I’m a true critic!
